Choose your preferred application method:
- Submit in person at the ShareWORLD Open University campus.
- Send your completed application via WhatsApp to +265 988 110 080.
- Email your application to info@swu.ac.mw.
Please ensure you attach the following documents:
- A copy of your MSCE certificate.
- A copy of your National ID or Passport.
- Copies of any additional qualifications (certificates, diplomas, or transcripts), if applicable.
Pay Processing Fee
Make sure to pay the non-refundable application processing fee of MK15,000 to the university account when submitting the application form.
Await Your Admission Decision
Your application will be reviewed, and you will be contacted once an admission decision has been made.
Entry Requirements
- Normal entry: MSCE/IGSE with six credits.
- Mature entry: Advanced ABMA, ABE, ICAM, or related diplomas/certificates.
- At least 4 credits in MSCE/IGSCE for bridging-oriented progression routes.
- MSCE/IGSE with six credits.
- First degree in a relevant field from a recognized institution.

We offer Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree, and Master’s Degree programmes across Business, Health Sciences, Communication, and Community Development related fields.
Applicants must have MSCE, IGCSE, GCE O-Level, or equivalent with at least 6 credits, including English and Mathematics.

Yes. We offer Diploma programmes under ABMA and ICAM. Diploma programmes are full-time and currently available in Lilongwe only.
We do not offer fully online degree programmes. However, we offer Block Release for students who need a more flexible study mode.
A non-refundable application processing fee of MK15,000 is required for all applicants. Payment must be made before your application can be processed, and proof of payment should be submitted together with your completed application form and supporting documents.
